Eric Hoffer Award
There Are No Words has been chosen as a winner for the Eric Hoffer Award.
The Eric Hoffer Award for short prose and books was established at the start of the 21st century as a means of opening a door to writing of significant merit. It honors the memory of the great American philosopher Eric Hoffer by highlighting salient writing, as well as the independent spirit of small publishers. The winning stories and essays are published in Best New Writing, and the book awards are covered in the US Review of Books.

IBBY Names There Are No Words
to "Outstanding Book" World Tour
There Are No Words has been chosen as an "Outstanding Book for Young People with Disabilities 2011" by the IBBY Documentation Centre in Norway. The book will be on permanent display at IBBY in Norway, and another copy will travel the world. The traveling exhibition will launch at the International Book Festival in Bologna, Italy.
IBBY, the International Board on Books for Young People, is a non-profit organization which represents an international network of people fromall over the world who are committed to bringing books and children together.
